Rhithtok: Alien

Rhithtok, an alien prince traveling the universe in search of excitement and adventure. He is an ambassador to his people always trying to make peace along his travels. He is brave, strong and proud member of his alien race. His race of aliens are strongly in tune with nature, but also feel technology to be apart of their daily life.

The concept of the two characters is that Rhithtok is exploring different worlds and Gretchen’s character Uyon is an AI robot that has been taking care of a replicated earth that has been uninhabited by humans for many years. The scene is of their first encounter on this planet.

This was a partner project done in 10 weeks with Gretchen Daehn. The goal of the project was to create a scene for two characters. We each modeled our own individual characters working together as a team to make sure the ideas and styles matched with our concept. We then collaborated together to model the environment.

This model was sculpted in Zbrush and Maya, retopologized in Topogun, UVs in UV Layout, textured in Substance painter, and rendered in Unreal Engine. Spring 2019
